Not only does this account provide many benefits to the student, it also makes it easy for parents to transfer money directly into the students account.
Your AVC Debit Card Account Is Secure
This AVC debit card account is an FDIC-insured checking account with NO monthly fees and NO minimum balance required.
If you receive financial aid from Antelope Valley, and 53% of our students do, or if you are due a refund, the college can deposit your funds directly into your account no waiting in line to pick up your check from Financial Aid, no trip to the bank to deposit the check.
It is just as easy for parents or others to make electronic payments directly into your account, no matter which bank they use.

Online help is always available for your AVC debit card. Just access the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website. You will find information and how-to steps for using all the benefits the account provides. And there are many benefits.
Automatic Payment
It is easy to set up automatic payments for bills you have each month like rent, cell phone and Internet access. Set up the program once and know that your bills will be paid on time each time.
You can set up alert messages so a text or email will be sent to your phone if your balance falls below the level you set. The Text 2 Balance feature allows you to find out your balance at any time by sending a text message. Your balance will be immediately back sent to you via a text message.
Online Depositing
If you have a check to deposit, you can do it right from your scanner and computer at home, in three easy steps sign the back of the check, scan both sides of the check, click the deposit feature. You’re done.

For those occasions when you need to use a check, free checks can be ordered. For all other payment situations, use your card. It’s our college design. The AVC debit card works everywhere credit cards are accepted as well as at a wide network of automated teller machines.
